Gendered Psychotropics

There can be differences in male/female reactions to some medications that have been overlooked. For example, Ambien is doubly strong for females. Generally women do better than men with SSRI antidepressants, especially Zoloft. Men may do better than women with tricyclics. (Jacobson, R. Gendered medicine.
